Petunia Viva® ForestFire

Florensis introduces unique Petunia colour

Durning Fleur-Garden Orange Florensis has introduced a remarkable introduction: Petunia Viva ForestFire. ForestFire is a new variety that fits well into the Viva-series, but it can also be grown separately. In habit and culture it is comparable to Viva Hot Pink or the Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner Viva Fluor Rose 2006. We deliberately did not add a colour description, as the colour can hardly be described. Depending on the light the variety shows orange to red shades, but the flower also shows pink to purple accents. The special sparkling colour makes the flower striking and attractive. The product, that has limited been trialled in practice, has been received with enthusiasm by the growers. The name ForestFire is connected to the lively colours of the variety which remind of flames. Most remarkable is that the Florensis breeder has succeeded in adding orange to the Petunia colour assortment. Because ForestFire belongs together with some other breeding lines to the most orange Petunia which has been put into the market until now.
